The Archbishop Elect of Kampala Archdiocese Paul Ssemogerere has asked Rotarians to work with the church in service projects to create a bigger impact in communities.
There are over 4000 Rotarians in Uganda spread in over 140 Rotary clubs in Uganda whose purposes are to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service.
While addressing Rotarians at hybrid fellowship organized by Rotary Clubs of Wobulenzi at his home at Kasana-Luwero Diocese in Luwero town, Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere acknowledged several projects in education, health, water, and climate change that have been implemented by Rotarians to promote the well-being of the people.
Ssemogerere says that apart from spiritual development, Rotarians do the same projects as the church and there was a need to collaborate so as to reach more people in dire need of services.
