He is hopeful that once they attract more tournaments on the course, more sponsors will come on board.
Anthony Agaba, the secretary of the Uganda Golf Union has pledged support to secure titles for the golf course land. He says that it is sad that the local community has encroached on the club’s land, which he says needs to be curtailed.
Jill Pinder, who was the overall winner in the women’s category between 60-and 69 years described the tournament as a thriller. The Helmet cup between Kilembe Mine and Entebbe Club was last played in 2015 with the latter winning the trophy.
