The name is actually mulife not murife. The Tiktok sound Murife Don’t run that has gone viral on the video sharing app was actually recorded in Zambia.
The sound went vital after a Zambian family recorded murife running to his rescue.
A Namibian family from a town called katima mulilo chose to travel for a holiday, during their travel they happened to see baboons and hoped off their car to watch them and give them some food.
The unfortunate bit is that one of the baboons looked so scary and the boy Murife was not having any of it. He started running away from the baboons.
The sound we hear in the video is one of his family members shouting to him to stop running
“Murife don’t run” so the baboons can stop chasing him
The viral sound has now been used over 7 million times with views in the 10s of millions from Tiktokers all over the world.
