Moses Tumwebaza, another farmer says the waters have risen waist-high and struck farmers as they were planning to harvest their crops. He calls for government intervention in anticipation of famine.
Naome Mutesa, who has suffered the floods for the second time in three years blames the government for failing to desilt river Mubuku. She fears an outbreak of diseases because many latrines have been destroyed.
