Yona Kanyomozi who has been battling cancer for a long time has passed on at Nakasero Hospital Kampala where he was recently admitted.
The 82 year old deceased was a former Minister of Cooperatives and Marketing as well as Member of Parliament for Bushenyi South in Obote II’s government.

Kanyomozi, Yonasani Bankobeza was born on June 29, 1940 in Kajara Ankole, Uganda. Son of Zakayo Kamugaruire Bwanugu and Tofasi Rwemagye(Mari) Bashorora.
