Vipers will be in action today for match day 10 in the StarTimes Uganda premier league as they host record league holders SC Villa at the St Mary’s stadium, kitende at 4 PM

The five time league champions have picked five impressive victories in their last six outings, including four successive wins, pushing them to third on 17 points in eight matches.

SC Villa, on the other hand, are preparing for the match after a 3-0 loss against KCCA in Premier League last Friday at the neutral ground in Akii Bua stadium, Lira

The jogoos have 14 points in the 6th position on the log

“I recommend the boys for our consistency it’s a good motivation. I respect our opponents because they are good at playing the ball in the midfield but we shall give our best not to give them a chance. All we want are the 3 points and give the happiness of our fans at home.” Vipers head coach Roberto Oliviera.

Last season at kitende, the jogoos were taken for lessons in a 3-0 thriller courtesy of Cesar Manzoki’s brace and Yunus Sentamu’s goal.

“They are a big team with good players and coaches but we are equipped and ready since we represent a team with a rich history.” Gift Fred said ahead of the clash against “As players, we know what we want so we are doing all it takes to rectify the mistakes done in the previous game. We can not afford to lament anymore but rather pick ourselves up,” he added.
