There is this beautiful feeling that fills the heart as you watch an underdog fight, sustain the battle, gain ground and finally overcome a giant.
I love watching overcomers. I love the romance of becoming. The romance of the struggle. It’s in there that the colour of life is written. It’s there that we find the inspiration to win our own battles where we are underdogs.
Very Inspiring to watch Croatia win. Brazil are many peoples favorites but surely, there is something about underdogs winning. There is a beauty about it. Something that encourages us all … that a lot of things are possible… and that there is always a moment, a day, when a door opens and you shine. And at that point, it doesn’t matter how long you have suffered. Victory tastes sweet.
And for those of you who are giants… to be humble and know that success is not a given… you are not special… life is a lottery and that you should not to take it for granted…
…and to know that life offers a blend of both… some days, joy…some days, sorrow.
…and it’s that symphony… the oscillation between the two extremes that gives you the fire to work harder. The upsets give you a reason to know that life is never over… it’s a work in progress. You have to keep going and keep improving and learning.
