National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine yesterday during the burial of the social media famous woman Asia Namirembe commonly known as Asia, insinuated that the deceased was more devoted to changing leadership in the country than the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among.
“You cant make me choose between Asia the speaker of parliament, I would choose her at any time because of her humanity towards fellow human-beings. Someone’s intellect shouldn’t depend on how many degrees someone holds. Humanity should be given the first priority,” Bobi asserted
He also added that “we have very many diplomats in the country who do not care about the impunity that is being imposed on fellow citizens. Asia always came out to condemn the abductions and unfair arrests going on in the country.”
This was during the burial of a famous Tik Toker Asia Namirembe who developed a chronic stomach illness some days back which resulted into an emergency abdominal operation at Mulago Hospital later causing her death on Friday January 28, 2023.
Asia was known for her lighthearted observations on current affairs, funny dance strokes. The deceased on many occasions expressed her support for Bobi Wine and claimed to have been in the same class with the musician.
Asia also known as “Asia wa Charles” became famous last year courtesy of a known you tube content creator Rodgers Ssebunya aka SB4 who later led a campaign that build Asia a decent single roomed house in Kamwookya.
