“We therefore wish to dispel the unfounded and exaggerated reports about his health, and further reassure the general public that the chief Justice will soon return and continue serving the people of Uganda,” read the statement in part., adding, “Members of public are therefore implored to stay calm and ignore the misleading publications about Hon the Chief Justice.”
However, it aims to address the concerns generated by the sensationalized reports and reasserts the Chief Justice’s commitment to his responsibilities in Uganda’s judiciary.
