At least 40,000 men are expected to attend the 7th Edition Men Gather conference this year 2024 organized by Phanero ministries international on Saturday 20th April 2024 at Kololo independence grounds led by Apostle Grace Lubega.
The event aims at sharpening men into responsible fatherhood under the theme “The Priest”.
“We gather because we understand that our mandate is not just for a nation but for a generation! We see the future as our responsibility because we understand that we did not inherit the earth from our fathers, we borrowed it from our children,” Apostle Grace Lubega said at a press conference.
This year’s conference focuses on transforming the world through the word of God, with a particular emphasis on men’s roles as fathers, leaders, and inspirations.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, 16th April, 2024 at Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz Naguru in Kampala Pastor Zac Mutyaba from Phanero ministries said that their vision is to transform the whole world through the word of God as Phanero Ministries, Men gather is one of the forum to fulfill it.
“Why men Gather, every year we always have a time to entire all issues that focus on Men from all walks of life, ages, in all denominations and we focus on men because we believe men are leaders, inspirators, they are fathers, they are business leaders, leaders in society and so we feel it’s a great time to focus on issues concerning men,” said Pastor Zac Mutyaba.
He also said that they focus on men because they believe that men are fathers, leaders in society when it comes to issues concerning them thus they want to see that men stop neglecting their responsibilities in family since in the past men have been seen or had issues of dropping their responsibility.
” In the last 50 year’s there has been a large issue concerning men dropping the ball concerning their responsibility as men either due to absent fathers, or due to role models or liberal ideals. In this event we ensure to always Sharpen men through the word of God because we are a Ministry that largely and funded on the ground of the word of God. In this event men are sharpened to be responsible fathers, husbands and responsible leaders in the society,” says Pastor Zac Mutyaba
According to Pastor Mutyaba this conference will attract men from Uganda, African countries and across the world that is to say Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and people from USA, Europe among others.
He also mentioned the conference will feature mentors from different organisations and companies will share knowledge on financial management, market places, investment, networking.
According to Pastor Ronnie Mutebi from Phanero ministries the men’s conference is a key event and its mission visit transform nations with the word of God and that the Phanero ministries international is celebrating 10 years of it’s existence in August this year 2024.
On D day 20th, April 2024, different activities will take place and that is to say Games like wrestling, Aerobics, football, board games like chess, scrabble among others and all kinds of sports and gates expected to open at 9am and the conference is expected to start at 2pm with an environment fully charged with Men.
