The University has today held its 6th graduation at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

“Victoria University has changed the education tide with its Authentic Learning & work -Integrated learning.”

Muyingo affirms other institutions will now benchmark the VCLASS model at Victoria University to better the learning environment around us.

The Hon. Minister acclaimed the university for the moral uprightness of the students.

“VU students are a safe pair of hands; one of a kind not synonymous with strikes.”

“Attaining a Charter is no mean feat”, Minister Muyingo augmented Victoria University’s latest milestone as a result of landmark changes in education and its immense impact on enriching skills of a modern student.

The graduation was also graced with the Chancellor of the University, Prof. Opuda- Asibo John. His remarks embarked on the experiential learning at the institute for it has been a rewarding experience and pledges the University leadership to demonstrate the best of its rewards.

“Enterprises at the moment offer on-the-job training programmes which are replicating universities”

The Chancellor challenges Victoria University leadership to ensure the institution stays relevant in such diverse times.

He also is self-assured Victoria University will retain its place at the summit as ‘change makers’ if it commits to attracting top-tier staff and top-tier students.

Prof. Opuda-Asibo says with a conducive working and study environment enjoyed at Victoria University, a platform to succeed is inevitable.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Lawrence Muganga also gave his remarks while speaking to guests and graduates.

He delivered an indelible send-off message to graduands for the 6th Graduation Ceremony.

“…At this moment in history, the world has a hunger for a resource like you: one unafraid of new challenges, one with the tenacity to surmount the insurmountable; one with the foresight to anticipate the unforeseeable,

one with the flexibility to adapt to the world & NOT TO IT;

one with the commitment to persist no matter the task, and one who has shown us – ‘the only way to go is forward…”

Prof. Lawrence Muganga vowed to put Victoria University to the global stage through ICT innovations.

Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia who is the proprietor Victoria University under the Ruparelia Group of Companies was among the guests at VU Grad Festival live at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
