The midweek games were lit with The JKL lady dolphins facing the Miracle Ravens in the Lugogo indoor stadium as the first game of the evening. In the first quarter of the game, the score sheet read 11:23 with the Dolphins leading the game. The lady dolphins continued dominating the game with a five-point lead even when the Ravens tried to close in in the first half of the game with scores 32:37. The dolphins show the Ravens that they are the ones in charge on the basketball court and eventually emerge victorious with scores 60:78. The Uganda team player Hope Akello was the player of this game with 16 points, 3 assists, and 11rebounds.
In the second game of the day, JKL Dolphins verse the renowned university team the UCU Cannons men’s team. JKL lead in the first quarter of the game with scores reading 18:12. The UCU cannons are as thirsty as fish for the win and start dominating the game in the first half the scores sheets reflecting 30: 32 with the cannons on top. The cannons almost stop the JKL dolphins from scoring totally in the third quarter of the game and only managed to add three points to their score. The game eventually ended with the Cannons taking up the win.
The federation has made watching these games easier for the students as they pay at a subsidized price. All they have to do is carry their ID at the entrance and pay half the price, unlike the rest of the other fans. The federation realized that there are so many students who would love to watch these games but cannot because the amount to be paid at the entrance is usually too high for them.
