RUBiS Energy Uganda has rolled out its premium cooking gas product, RUBiS Gas, to service stations across the country, marking a significant stride in promoting safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly cooking solutions for Ugandan households and businesses.

Since its launch at RUBiS Nalukolongo last week, RUBiS Gas has garnered attention for its commitment to safety, reliability, and affordability. With its slogan, “Light Up Your Life,” the brand is setting a new standard for clean energy in Uganda.

Meeting Uganda’s Energy Needs

RUBiS Gas is now available at over 70 RUBiS service stations nationwide, offering consumers a modern alternative to traditional cooking methods. The product launch is part of RUBiS Energy Uganda’s broader mission to support the country’s transition to clean energy while ensuring accessibility and affordability for all.

“RUBiS Gas is not just a product; it is a promise of safety, convenience, and quality,” said Olivier Gatera, Country Manager of RUBiS Energy Uganda, during the launch. “Every aspect of RUBiS Gas, from the cylinders to the filling process and distribution network, has been designed with the end user in mind.”

Gatera emphasized the company’s vision of contributing to a greener and healthier future for Uganda, recognizing that access to clean energy is crucial for sustainable progress.

RUBiS Gas is tailored to meet the needs of Uganda’s diverse consumers. Its standout features include:

  • Safety First: Advanced safety features ensure secure usage in homes and businesses.
  • Convenience: Available in multiple cylinder sizes, including 6KG, 12KG, 25KG, and 50KG, to cater to varied customer needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Meets international standards for LPG safety and performance.
  • Accessibility: Widely available at RUBiS service stations and authorized retailers nationwide.

Olivia Nahwera, Fuel Sales and Specialties Manager at RUBiS Energy Uganda, highlighted the importance of providing an energy solution that balances efficiency, affordability, safety, and environmental sustainability.

“With RUBiS Gas, we’re offering a product that delivers peace of mind for families and businesses. It’s not just about cooking; it’s about enhancing lives by ensuring safety, reliability, and value for money,” Nahwera said.

To further enhance customer experience, RUBiS Gas can be ordered for home delivery by calling the toll-free number 0800305000, ensuring that households and businesses across Uganda can conveniently access the product without the need for travel.

Supporting Clean Energy Adoption

The introduction of RUBiS Gas aligns with Uganda’s growing emphasis on clean energy solutions to combat environmental degradation caused by traditional biomass and fossil fuels. RUBiS Energy Uganda’s initiative seeks to make clean cooking accessible to more Ugandans while setting a benchmark for innovation and safety in the energy sector.

In addition to RUBiS Gas, K-GAS will remain available through authorized distributors, ensuring consumers have a range of choices to suit their preferences and needs.

As RUBiS Gas gains traction in the market, the company remains committed to supporting Uganda’s energy transition, creating sustainable solutions that empower communities and contribute to national development.
