URN The Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II on Monday opened the 29th Lukiiko sitting at Bulange Mengo. At the event, he tasked his Lukiiko and subjects to strongly speak out against different voices aimed at diverting the institution’s efforts in advocating for their rights and property.

At the event, he tasked his Lukiiko and subjects to strongly speak out against different voices aimed at diverting the institution’s efforts in advocating for their rights and property.
The Lukiiko is the legislative assembly for the Kingdom and it is composed of the Kingdom Ministers, County Chiefs and Clan leaders, and is also attended by Baganda’s representatives outside Buganda in Uganda and other countries using internet based collaboration tools (like Zoom).
Kabaka was in the company of the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, Prince David Wasajja, Nnalinya Lubuga and others.
