Immaculate Kibekyenga, a 26 year old Uganda was on the brink of death. Kibekyenga was rescued by the State house anti corruption unit.
The unit revealed on their social media handle that the 26 year old was trafficked by a Ugandan company.
“she was trafficked by Intercontinental Opportunities Labour Recruitment Company in September 2021.”
According to the State House Anti- Corruption Unit, Kibekyenga was being taken to Hospital for alleged medical treatment when someone aware alerted her.
A person aware of the plan to harvest Kibekyenga’s body organs alerted her as she was being taken to hospital. She then called her sister in Uganda who raised the matter to @AntiGraft_SH.” the unit tweeted.
Kibekyenga ‘s case follows the arrest of 4 directors of Nile treasure gate, a labour recruitment firm after a medical examination revealed that one of their clients Judith Nakintu’s right kidney was missing.
