Following the mega New year’s day night prayers, the list of Uganda’s Richest Pastors has had a few tweaks with some names going off and others exchanging places.

Here are the top men of God who have seen immense success in the bank by close of 2022.

Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo

There is no way that The House of Prayer Ministries International’s head would miss on the list of the richest pastors in Uganda.

When it comes to money, Pastor Aloysious Bujingo is less of a pastor and more of a media mogul.

He runs the successful Salt Media Group of Companies.

Before salvation and money, Aloysious Bujingo started out in the streets as a houseboy after leaving his maternal grandparents’ home.

His current net worth stands at around 4 Billion Shillings.

Bujjingo has however not been far away from controversy starting with his burning of bibles 6 years ago to his infamous separation with his wife Teddy Bujjingo after which he married one of the presenters at his TV known as Makula.

Pastor Samuel Kakande

Pastor Kakande has an estimated net worth of around 2 Billion shillings.

head of The Synagogue Church of all Nations has invested his money in shares in the Bank Of Africa and large chunks of land where he practices large-scale agriculture producing maize and rice.

His property includes giant mansions in Ggaba and Muyenga Hills and also owns a fleet of expensive super cars which he is often seen driving around the city in.

Pastor Samuel Kakande is no stranger to controversy, he has been married five times and has also been accused time and again of practicing devil worship by fellow pastors although this has never been proven.

Pastor Joseph Serwadda

With an estimated net worth of Sh.1.5 Billion, Pastor Joseph Sserwardda qualifies to be on this list.

The head of Victory Christian Center also owns Impact FM, Alpha FM, and Dream TV which are gospel-based media stations.

Pastor Serwadda is the pioneer of mega New year’s day night prayers which he used to hold at Namboole every 31st of December and this year he held his mega celebration at Kyambogo University grounds.

Among his many controversies is his proposal of mandatory vasectomy to control population in 2017.

Pastor Robert Kayanja

Pastor Kayanja is the founder of one of the biggest churches in Uganda, the Miracle centre.

Besides overseeing the Miracle Centre Churches, he is also in charge of other projects such as the Miracle Bible College, the Kapeeka orphanage, and the Never Again Children’s project. He also owns a TV station, Channel 44.

Pastor Robert Kayanja’s net worth is estimated at around sh. 1Billion and he knows how to spend his money well. He owns a giant mansion in the upper side of Kampala near lake Victoria and another one in Ntinda.

Pastor Gary Skinner

This evangelist originally from Canada is the founder of Ugandan mega church Watoto.

Skinner who preachers against power, sex, and money in his church, was born to missionary parents in Zimbabwe. He founded Watoto Church with his wife, Marylin in 1984.

In 2020, Skinner and his church were criticized for disregarding Covid restrictions and having his children’s choir go on tour. He has also been on the spotlight for promoting homophobia in Uganda.

Pastor Gary Skinner’s wealth is estimated at Sh.800 Million which earns him a spot among the richest pastors in Uganda.

Prophet Elvis Mbonye

Prophet Elvis’ ministry is fairly new compared to most names on this list who have been pastors of mega churches for decades.

This is testament to how much success Mbonye has had on the pulpit and in the bank in the few years he has been preaching.

Mbonye’s congregation includes mostly young corporates who gather at the Zoe grounds for a fellowship every week.H

His networth is estimated at around 600 Million.
