Harold Byamugisha Aponye, Managing Director of Aponye Uganda Limited and son to business tycoon Apollo Nyegamahe Aponye are said to have gone missing on Sunday night.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said that the investigations into the matter had commenced but that the missing person’s phone numbers have been off but a team of investigators has been put in place to locate his whereabouts.
According to his wife Mr. Harold is said to have left home promising his wife to return early.
“My husband was driving a Range Rover white in color with Reg. No. UBF 017D, it was around 11pm when he called informing me that he would be home in the next 20minutes, however he didn’t return within that time frame.”
His whereabouts have been unclear for the last few days thus prompting the filing of a missing person’s case report at Lubowa Police station off Entebbe road.
The family has put up a notice of a Shs5M has been placed to whoever has information about Harold’s disappearance.
“This is to inform the general public that whoever has any idea of his whereabouts, please call us on 0775363017, 07770611435 or report to the nearest police station. A reward of Shs5m is available,” the notice read in part,
