The Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) has named Kibuli secondary School (SS) and Mbogo High School as the personalities of the month owing to their outstanding performances at the African games.
The duo won gold at the all Africa Schools Badminton Champions in Mauritius thus USPA, A body that unites all sports journalists in Uganda held its first monthly Assembly of the year on Monday 16th January 2023 at Imperial Royale hotel to hail them after they they won 235 points.
Ndejje university with 210 points came second after successfully defending the Eastern African University games and the Motocross team was in the third position with 205 points.
“As a team, we are determined to serve and build an association we also desire and dream of.” Said Clive Kyazze USPA General Secretary
The Uganda Sports Press Association calls upon all Uganda sports journalists to attend these assemblies to come up with ideas that push the association forward and as well as give a mileage to the principal sponsor, Nile special. This also doubled as the second assembly for the newly elected executive led by president Moses Alsayed Lubega.
This happened to be Clive Kyazze’s first Assembly as the general secretary of the USPA
Sixty-four (64) members turned up, 39 of those were USPA members and only 25 were aspiring members.
