“Investigations into this matter are ongoing and the commission urges anyone with information that maybe useful to the investigation to avail it in order to facilitate the investigation process,” a statement released on Thursday January 19 2023.

The Human Rights Commissions said that they have discovered that seven people out of the 25 have since  been released n December and others have been charged and remanded .These include; Mr. Kavuma Jamshid, Mr Sonko Haruna Badru, Mr Abdu Bayani Babu, Mr.Godfrey Kirumira Marvin,Mr Ahumuza Patrick,Mr Muleme Steven.
