Maj Gen Kayanja Muhanga, the commander of the UPDF contigent in the democratic republic of Congo has revealed that the Uganda people’s defence forces army had men on the ground now in the DRC.

According to a statement by the army General, The Ugandan Military is now at Bukakati where they have set up a forward operating base for ground troops
Muhanga says The operation code named Suja will only stop after they have defeated the ADF.

The army General now says they recieved an invitation into the country by the Congolese army and are working with them.
