Police in Pallisa district are investigating the Murder of two family members.
Immaculate Alaso, the Bukedi North police spokesperson identifies the deceased as 12-year-old Catherine Looko and her brother, Micheal Kibali, both residents of Kayepei village in Kadesok Opwateta Sub County.
According to Alaso, Kibali was seen moving around with his sister on January 2, 2022, but she went missing around 8 pm.
He says that his family mounted a search until Monday evening when they discovered that Kibali had murdered her and buries her body behind his house.
A mob pounced on Kibali and beat him to death. Police recovered both bodies and delivered to Pallisa general hospital where they are lying pending a postmortem.
