Museveni further rebuked those politicizing Oulanyah’s death.
“I warn those who take advantage of problems to make cheap politics, we shall go for them especially those who say Oulanyah was killed. The police will come to you for info.
he said
Oulanyah didn’t die in a private home, he died in a reputable hospital, he was even at cancer institute”
He further extended his gratitude to the officials for working together saying,
“I want to thank the Parliament and congratulate NRM and allied groups that work together. I also thank the 66 that voted for Asuman”
In conclusion of his speech, he responded to Buguri Mp and speakership candidate Asumani Basalirwa who had called the exercise a free and fair vote.
“Basalirwa said this election was done properly and others haven’t. How can NRM cheat and you have all these MPs who come to Parliament through an election? Are they all rigged for?”
