In a statement released on 29 March by the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has reshuffled and retired more than 10 county chiefs along with their deputies.
According to the statement, six chiefs were appointed and four retired.
The Kabaka praised the retired county chiefs for the work well done since their appointment on November 1, 2019.
In a statement the Katikkiro says,
“All county chiefs and their deputies who have not been mentioned here have remained in their respective positions and counties.”
The changes come in as Kabaka flew to Europe for medical checkup and other Kingdom engagements.
