The Island nation of Samoa will host the next Commonwealth heads of government meeting in 2024.
The secretary general of the commonwealth Patricia Scotland made the revelation while speaking to the media at the end of a two day convening of all commonwealth leaders in Kigali, Rwanda.
Samoan Prime minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa said she was excited to welcome members of the commonwealth to their island nation.
“It is important that commonwealth leaders come and experience our island. It will be an island CHOGM.
