The Uganda Cup Winners, Eastern giants and Uganda Premier League side BUL FC will this year make their continental debut in the CAF Confederation Cup.
BUL FC have travelled to Rwanda for a short pre-season from which the team is going to have a friendly match with the Rwandan counter part Kiyovu SC this Sunday.
Alex Isabirye the club head coach has confirmed travelling with a 22-player-squad o among which is the club new signing Frank Kalanda.
Other players include: Saidi Keni, Tom Ikara, Emma Kalyowa, Richard Ayiko, Emma Obua, Douglas Muganga, Benon Tahomera, Aggrey Madoi, Pascal Ngoobi, Allan Kiggundu, Ibrahim Mugulusi, Simon Oketch, Reagan Kalyowa, Hillary Onek, Ibrahim Nsimbe, Anthony Mayanja, Jerome Kirya, Karim Ndugwa, Martin Aprem, Ibrahim Kazindula, Richard Wandyaka
The team will is also accompanied with seven officials that’s to say Alex Isabirye, Richard Kasule, James Magala, Patrick Asiku, Rashid Kebba, Remmy Kintu, Denis Kirunda.
The Ugandan BUL FC will be battling horns with the Egyptian side Future FC, with BUL hosting the first leg on the 9th September at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The winner between BUL and Future FC will have to play the winner between Borgou from Benin and Kallon FC from Sierra Leone at the second preliminary round.
