Gagamel International’s top boss, award-winning singer, vocalist, recording, and performing artiste Bebe Cool real names Moses Ssali, released a brand new afro-beat song titled Boss Lady.
This song is off Bebe cool’s new album whose name he hasn’t publicized yet.
The Ragga singer who also calls himself the big-size sings about love in a dancehall format deferring from the “kidandali” style he used in his last song “Gyenvude” where he talked about his journey in the music industry.
The Intro
At the start of the song, audio producer Vad Beats starts us off and captures our attention right away with an urban afro-beat feel.
In the Video, we see Bebecool joining in with a group of other energetic dancers and dancing to the tune right away as the music starts with the catchy hook
“Nkusaba tonzigalila mulyango Omukwano gwo ngusomako mukalango Njagala ompekeko kumugongo Coz tonight we go rumble kanambo”
This heavy beat leads you into the song naturally.
Lyrics
The word selection of the song is perfect, telling a story directed to ladies that make their own money calling them the term popularized by Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan “Boss lady” which is the title of the song.
In his lines, Bebecool mentions how he can cool down her pressure to hunt for money because money is not his problem he will provide as long as she satisfies him so
“when you ready take me girl am ready “
Rhythm
Boss lady has a solid beat and flow of words
“ nkusaba tonzigalila mumulyangooo
Mukwanogwo ngusomako mukalangoo
Njagala ompekeko kumugongooo …….”
Making it makes it consistent, not complex to rhyme to especially if you understand Luganda which is the largest target market audience.
Vocal melodies
I acknowledge the fact that Bebe cool is blessed with good enough vocals, his vocal qualities are great, with his deep husky voice that is easy to blend with Afro-dance hall beats and he did exactly that on this one.
Enough about the music, let’s talk about the video directed by Elly workz under bebecool’s own gagamel films. It brings out the concept in the would-be true meaning of a boss-lady.
We see ladies playing tennis, a sport of elites in Uganda, horse riding in a posh environment and her desire to have cash money all around not forgetting the video dancers who showed off there skills every now and then making the video even more captivating
Boss Lady was mastered, mixed, and produced by the fast-rising audio producer and professional sound engineer, Vad Beats and I can assure you that this is a song that will be a club banger in Ugandan clubs for a long time.
