Color, pomp at Lapaire 5-years celebrations

Guests in their dozens made their way to the one of the most decorated hotel in the city, Golde Tulip just off Yusuf Lule Road. As they marked their arrival, it was clear there was something significant about the dress code they donned.

Spik and spern, they majestically made for the well decorated hall with parterns of white-blue and red.

Those peculiar colors were synonymous with every guest as Lapaire celebrated their five years.

Proffessionals from all walks of life graced the occasion including; medics, eye care specialists, brand ambassadors as well as members of the media graced the occasion.

Speaking during the celebrations, the Mr. Oliver Mwanko the Public Relations & Communications Lapaire East Africa group companies expressed his gratitude to all the stakeholders who have helped the brand grow and establish itself.

“We believe that a clear sight is a fundamental right that should be accessible to everyone, our eye glasses are not only tailor made to suite a client but they are pocket friendly, as well as offer free eye tests. We have achieved this through walking a journey with both our clientele but also different stakeholders”  he said.

Roseline Kilonzo the attributed the success of the brand to the loyal customers that have over the years inspired the team to keep creating unique, quality and affordable products.

 “Looking back five years ago I am proud f how far we have come as a team. I am proud to say that we have impacted the world and we have now grown to 50 optical shops across Africa with over 350 employees and have carried out over 200,000 vision tests,” she said with a smile.

The success of Lapaire together, with guests was treated to a magnificent four-course meal which was washed down by fine wines, juices and water.

The brand’s latest collection of glasses was arranged in the room making a spectacle of beams that could only be described in superlatives.

Lapaire’s Brand ambassadors Daniel Lutaaya and Anna Talia Oze sent the crawd into loud chuckles and histirical laughter with their unending jokes as they animated the evening cooperate event.

The invited guests didn’t disappoint as they came dressed in all shades of blue, white and a touch of red as representation of the Lapaire brand colors.

The function was also attended by members of the media who gave insight & presentations into the some of the ways media can play a pivotal role in eye care.

The ceremony closed with the cutting of cake to celebrate Lapire’s 5 years in existence.

Lapaire Glasses was founded by Swiss National, Jerome Lapaire in 2018. After  he realized that access to eye care services was the main problem.The brand Lapaire gets its name from the CEO but it also means “a pair of” in French.
