Swangz Avenue artist Winnie Nwagi is in the news again after being bounced at Club Illusion a few days ago. Nwagi reportedly failed to pay the club’s entrance fee.
The songbird who came with a group of friends claimed that she couldn’t pay to enter a club that plays her music for free.
“how come they are able to play my music in the club at no cost and expect me to pay for entrance !” Nwagi Lamented
The Mataala singer adds that the general public should learn to attach some respect to artists because, without them, music wouldn’t make sense.
Foreign artists are treated differently Nwagi took to Snapchat with to rant after what she called a night of embarrassment.
She accused the Ugandan public of giving international artists preferential treatment while Ugandan artists are disrespected.
Nwagi was left outside Club illusion looking on as her fans passed by her at the entrance after the bouncer denied her and her entourage entry to the night spot.
Nwagi said the bouncers should also have some sense of sympathy and humanity.
In Vintage Nwagi style she, however, reminded her haters that she will continue talking even after this embarrassment mocking that they are still recovering from her Fire concert that filled up lugogo cricket oval.
Club Illusions is not a joke
If you have been in the life of the party and wondered in several clubs around Kampala, you know Club Illusion is one of the most elite clubs. At illusions, you could get bounced for anything,, even looking like you don’t have money to spend on drinks, poor dress code among others.
