Embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna landed in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday, October 20 at 6:00am after his deportation and 5 year length of residence in Canada since 2018.
Touching down on a remarkable day when Kenya celebrates it’s heroes day country widely refered to as ‘Mashujaa day’, Miguna Miguna is among the guests scheduled to attend the parade celebrations at Uhuru Gardens upon an official invitation from the Government of Kenya.
Subsequent to the Parade celebrations marking the Mashujaa day, Miguna Miguna is expected to attend a Garden luncheon at the State House upon the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E William Samoei Ruto.
” His excellency William Ruto and First lady Racheal Ruto requests the pleasure of the company of Dr. Miguna Miguna to a Garden Party on the occasion of the Mashujaa celebrations at state house Nairobi at 1pm” reads a second invite shared by Miguna.

Notably, Miguna had declared he will only come to Kenya after Ruto was sworn in as the fifth president in line with the Head of State’s promise to allow him back once elected President.
