Five former employees of the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation are set to be arraigned in court over mismanagement and embezzlement of funds which is totaling to Shs2.62 billion.
The five includes Prof Wasswa Tom Davis the former Managing Director of Uganda Printing and publishing Corporations, Kasenkende Mujjuzi the former Finance and Administration manager, Kigonya Peter, Ahimbisibwe John Baptist and Ayebale Catherine .
Fred Enanga the police spokesperson noted that the five are set to appear in court this afternoon on various cases including mismanagement of office, conspiracy to cause financial loss to the corporation among others .
It should be noted that in September 2021 police recovered Shs600m from Prof Wasswa Tom Davis’s home.
Enanga noted that they are hunting for other three more former workers of the Uganda Printing and publishing Corporation who went into hiding following the arrest of their top bosses.
